Richard has 40 years experience in healthcare across both the public and private healthcare sectors.
Richard has worked as a senior member of the Department of Health team for a number of years, where he lead the development of the NHS Standard Contract used for commissioning services from providers of NHS funded care and also contributed to a wide range of governance, policy and delivery roles within the Department.
He has held senior executive director roles within healthcare organisations, including Chief Executive Gleneagles Hospital (UK) Ltd, the Heart Hospital London, Hospital Director at the Lister Hospital Chelsea and Unit General Manager in the Bournemouth Acute Unit.
Richard works with a number of commissioning and commissioning support organisations on pathway integration projects, the NHS standard contract and strategy and operational planning across England, Richard is recognised for his pragmatic approach, sound advice and balanced thoughtful perspective.
Tony has over 30 years experience within the commercial, specialist commissioning and procurement arena and is an experienced consultant and practitioner having delivered key pieces of work across central government, local authorities, the NHS and the Department of Health.
A dynamic and inclusive individual with a proven track record of delivery and sustainable benefit, Tony has an outstanding ability to match strategy with reality. One of the original team set up to deliver the Wave1 ISTC centres for the Department of Health, Tony has also operated at director level within the NHS providing commercial impetus, delivery and support to senior NHS executives and their teams.
Tony has latterly been leading integration projects supporting CCG’s and CSU’s across England, including the design and delivery of the first model in this country in Bedfordshire. Tony now combines and incorporates his work with his role as Director of STO Healthcare.
